Merri Community Childcare & Kindergarten

The centre is a not-for-profit parent managed facility that offers childcare along with 3 and 4 year old integrated kindergarten. The project scope is to increase kindergarten places at the centre along with updated outdoor play spaces to meet increased community demand.

We recently completed Stage 1 of the project to extend one of the current kindergarten rooms and improve access to the building. The main entrance area has been opened up, recyled bricks and metal cladding added along with a DDA compliant ramp and new secure timber fencing.

In Stage 2 all administrative spaces will be relocated to a new upper level, allowing for more space on the ground floor which will be reconfigured to house additional play spaces. A DDA compliant lift will also be installed.
