Taylors Lakes House

This project was to refurbish an existing 1980’s red brick home and design a new extension at the rear.

The current layout did not suit our client’s family needs and they requested an affordable solution to increase space and storage within the current layout, create open plan kitchen and living areas, and design a new family room at the back of the building creating a better connection with the garden.

The new extension uses expressed timber beams to continue the aesthetic of the original building which has high timber lined vaulted ceilings. 

High level skylights have been added to the living/kitchen area to bring much needed light into the area.

The front of original house has been updated with charred timber elements and a new master bedroom window.
